Crealis gets ready for the coming F-gas II regulation
As expert in handling fluorinated greenhouse gases, Crealis and its sister companies of the Dehon Group are getting ready for the next F-gas regulation that will replace the 842/2006/CE regulation. The coming one is to be voted early March 2014 on the European scale, and issued before summer in order to be implemented on January, 1st 2015.
Many requirements of this coming regulation concern the CREALIS plants:
- phase-down and deletion or restriction of HFCs with increasing alternative fluids such as HFO, ammonia, hydrocarbons or carbon dioxide,
- how to prevent emmissions,
- new rules for labeling the fluorinated greenhouse gases,
- recovering and reclaiming.
The Dehon Group is working in project mode with an European multidisciplinary team in order to implement as soon as possible the future regulation and support the customers in this transition period.
